Sarina Russo (born 23 June 1951) is an Australian entrepreneur. She is the founder of the Sarina Russo | Group of Companies an international education, training and recruitment business.

She was born in Castiglione, Sicily, Italy on the 23rd of June 1951. Her father Antonio emigrated to Brisbane from Italy in 1952. He was followed by her mother Maria and three older siblings in 1956. They grew up in the Brisbane suburb of Spring Hill. Russo attended St Stephen's Primary School and later All Hallows School in Fortitude Valley.[1]
Having worked in various legal secretary roles and as a part-time typing teacher over the years, Russo launched her own business ‘The Office Business Academy’ in 1979.[2] The business has grown to incorporate job placement services, recruitment services, workplace training and international education. The Sarina Russo | Group of Companies is made up of: Sarina Russo Schools | Australia; Sarina Russo Job Access Australia & Great Britain; Sarina Russo Institute – Skills for Industry, James Cook University Brisbane; Russo Recruitment; Sarina Russo Apprenticeship Services; VOICE Psychologists and Allied Professionals; Sarina Russo Global Initiative (not-for-profit arm) and Sarina Investments.[3]
A graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner / President Management Program, Sarina is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, the Queensland Premier’s Advisory Board, the Women’s Leadership Board of the John F. Kennedy School of Government (Harvard Business School), the Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World, and has been the Chairman and Trustee of the Jupiter’s Casino Community Benefit Fund since 1995.[4]
